This Privacy Statement covers the privacy practices that SERONIC employs when providing support, consulting, or hosting services (the “Services”) to SERONIC clients through SERONIC’s Software products and Software-as-a-Service solutions (“Software Offerings”). SERONIC established this Privacy Statement to clarify SERONIC’s role as a processor where SERONIC processes services data on behalf of SERONIC clients through SERONIC’s Software Offerings.

Services data (“Services Data”) is data that SERONIC is provided access to in connection with the Software Offerings and the related Services, such as data accessed through a Software-as-a-Service environment or data accessed through test, development and production environments. SERONIC treats Services Data in accordance with the terms and conditions set forth in the SERONIC agreement for the Software Offerings and related Services with the SERONIC client.

Services Data Use:
Services Data may be accessed and used to fulfill the requirements specified in the SERONIC customer agreement for Services or Software Offerings. SERONIC technical staff may require periodic access to Services Data to monitor system performance, test systems and develop and implement upgrades to systems. Any temporary copies of Services Data created as a necessary part of this process are only maintained for time periods relevant to those purposes. SERONIC may also be required to provide personal information to comply with legally mandated reporting, disclosure or other legal process requirements. SERONIC reserves a limited right to disclose any personally identifiable information we receive if required by law or valid order of a court or other governmental authority, or if needed to protect the health and safety of SERONIC employees, a client’s employees, or the general public.
SERONIC may transfer and access Services Data globally as required for the purposes specified above. If SERONIC hires subcontractors to assist in providing Services, their access to Services Data will be consistent with the terms of the relevant SERONIC customer agreement and this SERONIC Software Products and Software-as-a-Service Privacy Statement.
SERONIC does not use Services Data except as stated above or as provided in the relevant SERONIC customer agreement. SERONIC may process Services Data, but does not control an SERONIC client’s information collection or use practices for Services Data. If an SERONIC client provides any Services Data to SERONIC, the client is responsible for providing any notices and/or obtaining any consents necessary for SERONIC to access and use Services Data as specified in this statement and the SERONIC customer agreement.
SERONIC’s access to Services Data is based on job role/responsibility. Services Data residing in SERONIC hosted systems is controlled via an access control list (ACL) mechanism, as well as the use of an account management framework. As SERONIC clients control access to Services Data by its end-users, end-users should direct any requests related to their personal information to SERONIC clients.

Modifications to Statement:

SERONIC reserves the right to modify or supplement this SERONIC Software Product and Software-as-a-Service Privacy Statement at any time. The most recent version of the SERONIC Software Product and Software-as-a-Service Privacy Statement will appear on this website with the relevant modification date.
